Why choose MICPA x CA ANZ?
Admission into the ASE
Candidates must have taken ONE of these routes:
✔️Possess a Degree in Accounting or other disciplines accredited by MICPA or CA ANZ
✔️Completed the Professional Stage Examination (PSE) –
(Accredited Diploma in Accounting holders)
✔️Completed the MICPA Conversion Programme (MCP) –
(Non-accounting degree holders)
Practical Experience
Candidates must fulfil 3 years of mentored practical experience with an Approved Training Employer (ATE) in a relevant field of work.
Important Note:
Candidates who complete the MICPA x CA ANZ Qualifying Program but have yet to fulfil the practical experience requirement are eligible to apply to become a Provisional Member of MICPA.
Upon completing the program and the practical experience, candidates may apply for full membership of MICPA & CA ANZ bearing the titles CPA (M) & CA (ANZ).

Key Features:-
✔️4 terms offered per year with full and part-time study mode. All subjects can be completed within 1 year through full-time study, and within 2 years or more through part-time study
✔️Students may complete up to 2 subjects per term in addition to Ethics & Business (EB). They may also commence the program in the final year of an accredited Degree (T&C applies).
✔️For each subject, students will receive a digital Study Guide and there will be Subject Discussion Forums, where they may ask questions + contribute to discussions in the learning portal.
✔️There will be workshops & group work to encourage development of social skills, teamwork & self-confidence. Moreover, there will be open book assessments to train candidates‘ critical thinking skills.
✔️Subjects with an invigilated exam component will have the exams conducted online & invigilated remotely. Students are given a time limit of 8 years to complete the program.

HRD Corp (HRDC) Funding
Companies registered with HRD Corp (formerly HRDF) can claim training fees for eligible employees under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses (SBL-Khas) scheme.
How to Apply for HRD Corp (HRDC) Funding
Step 1: Confirm HRD Corp Registration
– Ensure your organization is registered with HRD Corp and has sufficient levy balance.
Step 2: Obtain Course Details from UOW Malaysia KDU
– Quotation with course and fee breakdown
– Training Schedule and course outline
– HRD Corp SBL-Khas Form (if needed)
Step 3: Submit Application via e-TRiS
– Log in to HRD Corp e-TRiS portal and:
– Select SBL-Khas scheme
– Upload required documents (quotation, course info, etc.)
– Submit the training grant application before the training start date
Step 4: Await HRD Corp Approval
– You will receive a confirmation email upon approval. Processing typically takes 7–14 working days.
Step 5: Notify UOW Malaysia KDU
– Once approved, inform us so we can coordinate invoicing and training arrangements.
